Maui Beach Cleanup

Frank Family Vineyards partnered with 4ocean and the Hawai’i Island Land Trust for an impactful coastal cleanup at the Waihe‘e Coastal Dunes and Wetlands Refuge in Maui, helping remove marine debris, rehabilitate historic fishponds, and support efforts to enhance critical native wildlife habitats. Volunteers pulled 139 pounds of trash and microplastics from the shoreline. Once populated with two thriving ancient Hawaiian villages, an extensive inland fishpond, and several heiau (sacred sites), the Waihe‘e Refuge is among the most significant cultural sites in the state of Hawaii.

Following the cleanup, participants enjoyed their favorite Frank Family wines and fresh bento boxes while taking in breathtaking views of the Maui shoreline.
